Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian on investing
Alexis started Seven Seven Six in 2020 and the firm has now gone on to invest in 17 start-ups. He has had a history of being an investor and entrepreneur and famously is the co-founder of the social media website, Reddit. Despite helping a few startups, Alexis feels he could have done things differently, and hence he wants to do it right with the help of Seven Seven Six.
“When I thought about that track record, and all the things that I’ve been proud of as an entrepreneur and investor, I couldn’t help but feel like I was celebrating the cook. I’m still very proud of that track record, but I know that I could have done better. I want the idea that we’re always on the first starting line trying to do better in pursuit of greater returns.”
