German player Julian Draxler is expected to join Italian giants Juventus FC after agreeing to a wage package of £50,000 a week that was put on the table. However, the club is yet to agree a transfer fee with Schalke FC.

“For me, an agreement is when three parties are good. Now we are at the stage where only Schalke and Juventus have to talk and, after that, we will see what happens,” Draxler’s agent, Roger Wittmann, told Goal.

Draxler, the man of the hour, is an audacious attacker and is known for his speed, agility and powerful shots. He is comfortable playing with both his feet and can also play on both wings.

Juventus boss Massimiliano  Allegri is happy to add an attacking player to his side.  Draxler will be the perfect addition to the Champions League finalists after the departure of both Vidal and Pirlo from the club.

The German midfielder won both the German Supercup and DFB-Pokal during his tenure at Schalke.

He was also a part of the German side coached by Joachim Low that won the World Cup in 2014.
