Jorge Masvidal Lets His Fans “Shine”, Shockingly Makes Them Fight During Open Workout

Well, that was unexpected! Jorge Masvidal is one of the biggest stars in UFC right now and he takes on the fan-favorite, Nate Diaz in the main event of Madison Square Garden. During the open workout for UFC 244, Jorge Masvidal did something out of nowhere that got the crowd excited. 

Masvidal came out and said that he is going to perform on Saturday night for the fans when he steps into the octagon. Instead, he let some of the New Yorkers to have a good time by making them spar.

Masvidal called out his fans to come up to the stage and trade only body blows and the fans surely obliged. 

“You like that? I know New Yorkers love to fight man. I remember coming here earlier in my career and New Yorkers love the fight man. So I just gave them a chance to shine and sh** and get the shine on.” said Masvidal when asked why he did something like that.

Jorge Masvidal takes on Nate Diaz on UFC 244 with the Baddest Mother F***er title on the line. While Masvidal has “Baptised” his opponents in his last two fights with two devastating knockouts, Nate Diaz made a statement with a dominant win over former champion, Anthony Pettis on his UFC return.

This fight is one of the biggest fights of the year. Dana White has even made a BMF title for this fight which will be revealed on Friday. That apart Hollywood superstar, Dwayne Johnson will be present in the arena and he will present the title to the winner of this fight.

Apart from the first ever BMF title, the winner of this fight might is very likely to get a shot at the welterweight UFC title. With stakes this high, fans can expect some fireworks when Jorge Masvidal takes on Nate Diaz on UFC 244.
