John Cena’s 20 Million Audience Speculate His New Favorite TV Show With 99% Rating on Rotten Tomatoes

After forging a sure-fire Hall of Fame wrestling career, John Cena set out to make a name for himself in Hollywood with a spring in his step. So far, John Cena has undeniably been successful with his Hollywood projects. The Fast X star has played several action and comedic roles in Hollywood. That said, he recently took to social media to hint at his favorite comedy TV Show. 

Every star has their favorite TV Show and John Cena may have revealed his on Instagram. Of course, John Cena doesn’t say much on Instagram, as his account is practically a meme page without captions, open to various interpretations.

Did John Cena just reveal his favorite TV Show?

John Cena recently grabbed headlines after his much-awaited film, Hidden Strike, was released on Netflix. The Jackie Chan-starrer grabbed the top spot on Netflix’s top ten trending list. Subsequently, WWE congratulated the wrestling legend for his achievement. Amidst the buzz, John Cena took to Instagram to post a picture of “Richard Jerimovich” from the comedy-drama series, “The Bear”. 

The Bear is centered around the life of a young chef, Carmy, who has returned home to run his family sandwich shop after a devastating death in his family. In an entirely different environment from his previous work, Carmy learns to navigate through the grating reality of owning a small business. The Christopher Storer show is currently in its second season since its release in 2022. 

The show is rated 99% by the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. On the other hand, the audience has given it a 92% rating. The fact that John Cena, who is also a TV series actor, posted a picture of Ebon Moss-Bachrach only goes to show that he may be a staunch follower of the show.

Nonetheless, John Cena’s own TV series, Peacemaker, is gearing up to release its second season soon. 

Is John Cena’s Peacemaker season 2 in the works?

Peacemaker’s last episode aired in February. The show was undeniably one of the most significant star vehicles for John Cena. Cena landed the role after impressing James Gunn with his work in Suicide Squad 2. 

After the release of the final episode of season 1, James Gunn confirmed that there will indeed be a season 2. While speaking on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Gunn relayed that the production will start after he is done with Superman: Legacy.

At this point, it is unknown when Peacemaker 2 will begin shooting. However, the show is certain to come out soon.
