The entire world came to the edge of its seats when the infamous incident between Chris Rock and Will Smith followed. The Actor slapped Rock for joking about his wife’s shaved head. Since then, a lot of personalities have shared their views on the episode. But the UFC commentator, Joe Rogan, has arguably the most hilarious take on this. And perhaps the world indeed needed a light and comedic take on this shocking altercation.

In a recent episode of The JRE, Comedian Joe Rogan shared a hypothetical and humorous outcome if Chris Rock was a trained Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Rogan’s co-host and fellow comedian, Yannis Pappas, while criticizing Smith’s action, said that Rock should have hit Smith back. Later, Rogan continued this eccentric conversation by imagining Chris Rock having Smith, in perhaps a rear-naked-choke situation.

“I was thinking to my friends last night I was like imagine if Chris Rock had just a year of solid Jiu-Jitsu training under his belt… as soon as Will Smith turns his back he just leaps and takes his back and just squeezes Will out before the security guards can get to him,” continued Rogan. Recently, a hilarious video surfaced the internet where a Jiu-Jitsu coach is supposedly coaching Rock on what he could have done.

Yannis Pappas joked about Chris Rock coming to the UFC legend Rogan to learn martial arts, just like in the film Karate Kid. Rogan and Pappas, before starting on this joking trail, also discussed the gravity of the situation with utmost sincerity. Furthermore, Rogan called the incident “a teachable moment“. In fact, acknowledged the fact that both the men behaved responsibly after the altercation.

The entire BJJ and MMA community would know that Joe Rogan is a trained BJJ practitioner. The UFC commentator indeed has got levels to his game. We can say this by seeing an old video of his. Rogan is almost choking a man in a standing-guillotine attempt.

This altercation perhaps took place outside the Comedy Store back in Los Angeles in 2004. The pair apparently got into an argument about immigration before things got heated and Rogan reacted quickly to lock up the choke and force the man to tap.
