Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler and Indiana Pacers forward have been fined for their roles in the altercation between them during their match on Wednesday.
During Miami’s 122-108 win, the two got into a tussle after bumping into one another. The incident saw Warren ejected. While Warren was walking away, Butler was seen blowing a kiss towards him.
Butler later posted on Instagram about the fixture in which they would be meeting again.

The Instagram post apparently got Butler into more trouble. Butler has been fined $35,000 while Warren has been fined $25,000.
NBA executive vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe announced the fines Friday. ESPN reported that Butler’s fine was also for “escalating the incident on social media postgame” and Warren’s was for making an obscene gesture after he was ejected, apart from their common guilt of their involvement in the altercation.

“To me, I think it’s tough for him because I can guard him and he can’t guard me,” Butler said. “At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to. You have just got to watch your mouth in certain situations. There’s some you just don’t say as a man. He’s got to see me the next time because I feel like what he said was truly disrespectful. It’s all good because we see him again. I ain’t scared of nobody. He’s talking about, ‘We’re going to fight.’
“He’s soft. He’s not even in my f**cking league, nowhere near me. If I was their coach, I would never put him on me ever again. Put somebody else on me, because I’m going to tear his b**t up every game.”
