Over the years, Jamaica has produced several star athletes, especially in the sport of track and field. While names like Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce are known all over, one name that cannot be forgotten is Yohan Blake.
Usain Bolt won the Gold Medals for 100m and 200m at London 2012 Olympics. The only man who even came close to him was his friend and fellow trainee, Yohan Blake, who got silver. With 4 Olympic Golds to his name, Blake is the 2nd fastest man on earth.

In the most recent video of ” Yohan Blake TV” on Youtube, he shared several pool exercises to build strength and endurance. The track star also talked about how it’s never too late to start doing something new!

The most recent video of “Yohan Blake TV” saw Yohan Blake reveal some pool exercises which should lead to better strength and sprint endurance. In the video, Blake introduces 4 types of pool exercises. He talked about how sometimes athletes need a break, and the pool is a great way to get relief.
Exercises in the pool allow the muscles a full workout but in a much more subtle way than a hard surface. The first exercise was for the shin, known as the Water Knee Drive. The second one was called Explosive Water Jumps and the third one, High Knees. The 4th and last one is; Water Sprint Bounding.
Blake further explained how these are exercises that anyone can try out, regardless of if the person is a professional. He asked the viewers to treat the pool as their best friend, and he instructed everyone to have faith in God and believe in themselves.
“Just remember as I said before don’t let anyone tell you can’t if you want to start something start don’t listen believe in yourself trust god at all times make the pool become your best friend,”?said Blake.He additionally shared one of his life’s mottos,

In the same episode, Yohan Blake also talked about how it’s never too late to do anything new. He revealed people often ask him whether it’s too late to start running.
“You know..um a lot of person asked me if it was too late for me to start running. If you want to do something do don’t make what people say don’t make you want to do what you want to do,” said Blake.Blake himself started running at the age of 16 and hasn’t looked back since. He claimed Gold at the 4*100m relay at London 2012. Overcoming a string of injuries, he went on to claim another at Rio 2016.
