Now we all know just how good Jordan Chiles is. After all, at just 23, she has already bagged herself an Olympic gold. And with UCLA in the top five, she might also add an NCAA title to her resume. But we are not here to talk about what she does on the mat. Nuh-uh. We are here for beyond the mat, and as it so happens, Chiles is pretty great there as well. She just released her first book, and if that’s not enough, she is also the lead consultant when the Golden Girls need any advice. What’s that? Well, according to Jade Carey, that’s just about right.
In fact, Carey even bypasses Simone Biles when she needs any fashion tips, with Chiles being her go-to fashion guru. Now that’s a big nod to Jordan’s standout style. In fact, Carey has a front-row seat to one of those gifts, often raving about Jordan’s exceptional fashion sense. Jade, an Olympic gold medalist herself, admires how Jordan effortlessly blends confidence and creativity in her style.
She even mentioned, “Jordan’s definitely the style girl. If you ever need any advice on what to wear, when to wear it, or how to wear it, definitely go to Jordan.” Carey goes on to mention how it’s not just her who sees Chiles as the fashionista. She mentions, “I think not only me, but a lot of us would go to Jordan to be like, okay, do I wear this or does this look cute? I give that all to Jordan.”

To this, Jordan can’t help but feel giddy. In fact, in her exclusive with
People Magazine, she mentions, “Once I started figuring out… I would get texts being like, ‘Hey, I don’t know what to wear with this,’ then I started to realize. I love fashion.” This again proves that while the UCLA gymnast might be good on the mat, she is just as good when it comes to dressing up.
But she admits this is not about showing off. Rather, as she mentions, “I’m going to be honest with you and not let you walk out with two different socks on.” She takes the fashion of others quite seriously and wants them to enjoy it as well. In the same vein, she mentions, “I’m going to always make sure they look nice; they look presentable in ways that they feel comfortable. That’s how fashion is; you want to feel comfortable, beautiful, and like you just conquered the red carpet.” But it is not just Jade who feels that Jordan is the fashion queen.

Well, if you guessed Simone Biles, then 10 points to you. That is because even the Goat sometimes asks her for advice. Jordan reveals that Simone once texted her with, “Okay, so I don’t know if this goes with this. What do I do?” This off-mat bond blossomed into a heartwarming bromance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where their shared laughter and support became as iconic as their medal-winning feats. The Sisterhood of Simone and Jordan was in full show at Paris
Both Chiles and Simone Biles etched their names in history at Paris 2024. While Simone continued her mad run with three golds, Jordan was able to be part of a historic moment herself. She was part of the trio of women of color at the Floor Exercise podium. But that fun didn’t last long, as a late-minute controversy regarding the appeal resulted in Jordan losing her medal.

But while the moment might have been lost, Simone Biles continued to support her throughout. This led to Jordan finally getting her hands on the first gold of her career in team. Jade Carey also had her moments to shine as she won a gold of her own. She stunned on vault with a Cheng that earned her gold. All of these trials ended up getting the girls the tag of Golden Girls as they made their triumphant return to the USA.
Their journey had its trials: Jordan’s medal saga tested her resolve, Jade faced the solitude of her specialist path, and Simone overcame a post-Tokyo hiatus to reclaim her throne. Through it all, their Olympic sisterhood—Jordan’s flair, Jade’s quiet trust, and Simone’s mentorship—wove a golden thread of grit and joy, turning Paris into a celebration of talent and togetherness that shone far beyond the podium.
