Following the “Devourer of Worlds” event, the Zero Point on the Fortnite island is exposed yet again. Agent Jones is assembling a team of bounty hunters that includes the likes of the Mandalorian, Kondor, Lexa, and Menace, among others.
To say the least, the latest Fortnite season looks as good as it sounds. Some of the biggest creators like Ninja, SypherPK, and Fresh strongly feel that it will continue the momentum set by the Marvel-themed season.
On the flip side, Jack “CouRage” Dunlop has discovered the “biggest disappointment” of the season already.

In a recent tweet, the streamer complained about the addition of Charge Shotguns in Fortnite because they feel bulky and non-rewarding.
Charge shotguns really aren’t fun. They feel clunky and aren’t rewarding to use. It’s definitely the biggest disappointment of the season.

Changes in the weapon arsenal of Fortnite
Over the years, Epic Games has never failed to alter the game meta by adding and removing certain weapons. Accordingly, the developer has now removed prominent weapons like the Pump Shotgun, and brought back the Tactical Shotgun, Charge Shotgun, and Double-Barrel.
Epic introduced the Charge Shotgun in Chapter 2 Season 3 as a replacement for the Pump Shotgun. Ever since, the weapon has gone through a series of vaults and unvaults.
Most recently, the Fortnitemares 2020 update removed the weapon from the game; however, it is back with the latest season.
Why is the Charge Shotgun a bone of contention?
Along with a headshot multiplier of x1.5, the Charge Shotgun boasts the following damage statistics:

- Uncommon: 85/127
- Rare: 89/134
- Epic: 94/141
- Legendary: 98/148
The gun has a 0.85 fire rate and a long reload time.
As for now, the Fortnite community seems divided on the inclusion of Charge Shotgun in the game. While some players feel that the gun requires skill and proper aiming, others feel that it easily breaks the meta with easy one-shot kills. Certainly, CouRage is a part of the latter faction.
