Battlefield 2042 has fascinated legendary streamer, Dr Disrespect. Ever since the release of the trailers, the Two Time has kept high expectations for the new DICE title. Along with Halo: Infinite, Battlefield 2042 seem to be the game that can eventually replace Warzone as his go-to title for streaming. Because of it, Doc has kept a close eye on any news about the latest iteration of the iconic FPS franchise.

The developers confirmed that the game won’t have any campaign for players to experience. However, the multiplayer will have some storytelling, and this became true after they released a nine minute short film called Exodus. The film had a ton of action and amazing visuals. However, Dr Disrespect had some qualms about the realism in it.

Dr Disrespect questions the realism in the new Battlefield 2042 short film, Exodus

Dr Disrespect began the reaction to Exodus with a lot of excitement. However, within a few minutes he questioned the many decisions taken by the characters in the film. He thought that the characters from the military didn’t display any tactical behavior like looking around in the dark. Doc found this to be unrealistic, and weird. However, he earlier mentioned that he might be just ‘overreacting’ to a short film of an epic game in Battlefield 2042.

“Maybe I am overreacting, maybe I am over-analyzing, it’s just unrealistic, you know.”

Doc wants longer movies with this quality

Even with his displeasure towards the characters in Exodus, he praised the developers at DICE for this amazing short film. He thought that they had done a fantastic job at the visuals of the environment in the film. However he had slight criticisms about the character models. In the end, he thought that gaming developers or film producers should think about doing long format movies with a similar visual quality.

“There needs to be like full movies at this quality. How sick would that be, and you know that they can even get better in quality.”
