The second half of the 2019 Formula One season has kicked off with a double-header. Last weekend was the Belgian Grand Prix, which delivered Charles LeClerc’s maiden win. Now, the coming weekend will see F1 fans gear up for the Italian Grand Prix 2019 in Monza.
Heading into this weekend, Ferrari will be in high spirits after their win at the Belgian Grand Prix. So, the team will be aiming to keep up the momentum, especially in their own backyard.
With regard to the weather conditions, fans will be glad to know that it will be dry throughout the weekend. However, on Friday, one can expect cloudy weather with cooler temperatures in the low 20s. It is only from Saturday onwards that the conditions will be warmer.

Monza is fondly known as the Temple of Speed and is the fastest circuit on the Formula 1 calendar. The circuit is characterised by long straights and a handful of chicanes and high speed corners. Monza has been an integral part of Formula 1 since its inception in 1950, and its rich history makes it the personification of the sport according to many.

With regard to the tyre allocation, there was a lot of contrast of choices between teammates. The only teammates who have chosen similar allocations are the Racing Point duo and the McLarens.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen is the only one among the big players to shoot for 10 sets of soft tyres. Also joining him are Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll, and they have also opted for one set of hard tyres and two sets of mediums.

Coming back to the front-runners, Lewis Hamilton has chosen 2 sets of hards and 3 sets of mediums. Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas elected to run one set of hard tyres and 4 sets of mediums. Sebastian Vettel has mimicked Bottas’ tyre choice, while Charles LeClerc took after Lewis Hamilton for the Italian Grand Prix 2019.
Also, all four drivers have chosen 8 sets of soft tyres. Max Verstappen took one hard and 2 mediums, while Alex Albon chose one hard and 3 medium sets, along with 9 softs.
