Fortnite aim assist feature for controllers raging the latest debate in the gaming community. Different theories running parallel to each other, trying to prove which one reigns supreme. Nick Eh 30 released a video earlier today speaking about it. From what we can infer, it was a pretty diplomatic stance taken by him.
As opposed to Ninja, who seems to be on a mission to use his influence to get Epic Games to nerf aim assist for controllers. The logical explanation for this can be rooted out in the difference of controls. Essentially, a keyboard-mouse setup provides much more scope for uncontrolled movement. Whereas, for controllers, every action manually controlled.
What are The Key Features of Dissimilarities?

While a controller works entirely on 3-dimensional science, the controller does not have a balance pad. For keyboard setups, you necessarily have a wooden deck or a floor set up to provide for that third dimension. Thus, it is easier for keyboard-mouse gamers. Majority plays the game on the mouse setup, and this dissimilarity in aim assist feature is a balancing measure.
Nick Eh 30 said, “No matter what input your choose, keyboard, mouse, controller, doesn’t matter, each requires a lot of practice and a lot of skill. No one is going to pick then up instantly.” It is evident that without practice, mastering anything needs constant training. Aiming at a controller is not as easy. Hence the aim assist feature matches the necessities.

The gaming community divided by opinions are wondering what Epic Games will do about this issue. Ninja called out the game developers on their decision to band FaZe Jarvis. It seems his influence over the community affects the rest of the gamers detrimentally. His desperation is understandable, although it would smell like injustice if Epic Games nerf aim-assist on controllers.
Just played with a controller on pc for the second time in two days. I have competed in several games at a competing level on both controller and mouse and keyboard.
You cannot tell me that with 100% strength aim assist and linear settings that using a controller isn’t aimbot

MrSavage, a hardcore controller Fortnite gamer, was also facing some trouble with his game. So it might not be entirely dependant on who is playing on a controller and who isn’t. Nick Eh 30 made it quite clear in his statement, about how this current situation is creating a divide in the gaming community.
“Aim assist is why I died, aim assist is why I got lazered; it just creates a toxic mentality towards console players. “That’s just infuriating to me, if you’re not on keyboard and mouse then you’re inferior to me. That’s what got me super angry.”
