The PlayStation 5 is all set to launch later this month. With its advent into the market, next-gen gaming will kick-off in spectacular fashion for PlayStation. As usual, PlayStation has promised a great line-up of exclusive titles, which perhaps makes the PS5 more desirable than its competitor, the Xbox Series X. And from the looks of it, MMA and UFC superstar Israel Adesanya cannot wait to get swinging in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

‘The Last Stylebender’ retweeted a clip from the recently shared Spider-Man: Miles Morales suit reveal.“I like to get high and swing in Spider-Man games #cheapthrills.”

Clearly, he is fanboying over the stunning gameplay mechanics that Miles Morales promises. The web-swinging in the game looks especially incredible. It is also heavily inspired by the 2018 Spider-Verse movie, which makes it all the more interesting.

The most unique aspect of the 2018 movie was its visual fidelity. The crew has developed entirely new software to give the move a comic-book feel. Clearly, their effort paid off as the movie received praise from all over the world.

The Spider-Verse suit reveal video shows similar editing. It feels like the movie all over again, but with the player being in control of the movement. No wonder Izzy is already drooling over the game’s gameplay.

Talking specifically about the web-swinging, it is also heavily inspired by the Spider-Verse movie. The movement, the acrobatics, the actual swinging, and the dips and turns that Miles does mid-air are just mesmerizing to witness. Insomniac have clearly outdone themselves this time.

Naturally, Adesanya being impressed by this game is justified. Speaking about games, Adesanya also recently managed to break the ‘EA cover curse’ with his win over Paulo Costa. This may seem insignificant, but given the fact that Masvidal lost after featuring on the UFC 4 cover, it is definitely a great sign.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is definitely going to have more such high-profile fans once it launches. The game releases on November 12 along with the PlayStation 5.
