Caeleb Dressel to sit out for the rest of the competitions

Lezak confirmed that Dressel would miss out on the rest of the matches because of health issues.

“Caeleb was not feeling well before his match on the 12th and as a team, we decided that it would be best for him to sit out of the rest of the regular season so that he will be in optimal condition for the playoffs.”

Despite the remarkable performance, the swimmer won’t take further part in the swimming competitions. Notably, he was the Match MVP in all three appearances during the first edition of the competition. Soon after, by winning the MVP five times in the second season, he helped the Cali Condors to take home the ISL title.

Thus, Caeleb’s importance to the team cannot be underestimated. However, a break would do him the world of good after sensational performances in the past two months.
