Infinity Ward launched another weekly update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone on May 26 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The update is expected to be the last one before Season 4 kicks off in June and isn’t as chunky as previous ones. Despite being a lightweight update of sorts, it brings new content additions and also makes a few changes to existing playlists.

Two game modes, Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone, have been included, each with a unique objective-based playlist of their own. While Gun Game received its set of Gunfight maps, Shoot House and Shipment got their respective 24/7 playlists that mix several modes. Additionally, a Modified playlist for Special Operation Brimstone has also been introduced.

Apart from the playlist updates, Operator Raines has a Lumbertactical bundle available. It features a Bunyan skin, a Legendary blueprint each for LMG and shotgun, also the Hatchet melee weapon. Moreover, a Tracer Pack: Purple bundle is also up for grabs from the in-game store. The bundle comes with two Legendary blueprints for AR and SMG, a charm, sticker, vehicle skin, emblem, and calling card.

Meanwhile, Realism Mosh Pit, Hardhat 24/7, Clean Up on Aisle 9 and Reinfected Ground War has been removed from Modern Warfare for the time being.

What are the changes in Warzone?

The May 26 update also had a few tweaks for Call of Duty Warzone. But, unlike previous updates, the changes aren’t large in number. Plunder Quads has been introduced in the battle royale. However, modes such as Classic Battle Royale Trios and Blood Money Trios have been removed.

Moreover, Infinity Ward has decided to enable Double XP, Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass tier progression for Warzone and Modern Warfare. It will further assist players in earning this Season’s blueprint by maxing out their ranks. It will also help them reach Tier 100 in the Battle Pass to unlock the Alex’ Indomitable’ skin. The event commences on May 29 at 10 AM PT and concludes on June 1 at 10 AM PT.

Finally, to honor the National Military Appreciation Month, Call of Duty Endowment released two limited items. The Fearless Pack and the #CODEFearless T-Shirt. While the pack is for operators in Modern Warfare and Warzone, players can wear the T-shirt in real life. The Endowment charity will receive all proceeds from both the purchases.
