Today, the Arrow Mclaren team reveals the 2020 IndyCar challenger of Fernando Alonso. The No. 66 vehicle is being entered by McLaren in association with Ruoff Mortgage.
The Spaniard will endeavor the race for the third time this year. He made his debut in the race in 2017. He was on his way for the race win before his Honda engine stopped. The run of Fernando Alonso was in a joint effort with Andretti and Honda. He qualified fifth and directed 27 laps before retiring because of a motor failure.

This will be the vehicle Fernando Alonso will endeavor to attempt the final step of the âTriple Crownâ at the 2020 Indianapolis 500. Alonso said, âIâm very happy to finally see the car which I will race in the Indianapolis 500. We had to wait longer than usual to release the livery but that means that engines will be starting soon in Indianapolis.â
After that, He added, âIâm confident that Arrow McLaren SP will be competitive. The team has the right experience, well-qualified people, and great resources.â

Will Fernando Alonso achieve the triple crown?
A year ago, McLaren entered the race with Fernando Alonso. However, he failed to make it to the grid. He was out of the qualifying by Juncos Racing and Kyle Kaiser.
The Indy 500 this year will happen on August 23rd. It has been deferred from its date not long ago due to the coronavirus pandemic. McLaren has three drivers in the race this year. Fernando Alonso will team up with full-time Arrow McLaren SP drivers Patricio OâWard and Oliver Askew.
