Indian boxers at the Doha International Boxing Tournament performed spectacularly, bagging four gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the event on Saturday. Doha International features a total of 12 countries and is a build-up for the October World Championship, which is also an Olympic boxing qualifying event.

Devendro Singh (49kg) bagged first position by beating Philippines Aldren Moreno 3:0. Shiva Thapa (56kg) defeated Egypt’s HYM Abdelaal 2:1 and bagged second gold for India. While Manish Kaushik (60kg) and Manoj Kumar beat Moroccan Rabi Hamza, Filipino Magliquian Nicole respectively by 3:0 in their final matches. This was followed by Gaurav losing to Montassar Bouali 2:1 who bagged silver medal. Mandeep Jangra (64kg) and Vikas Krishna won bronze medal.
