India have registered a convincing victory over Soth Africa in the third and final in Ranchi. With this, they won the three-match Test series by 3-0 as well. After having whitewashed West Indies in their backyard, India did the same at home and maintained their winning streak at the ICC World Test Championship. Captain Virat Kohli praised the team as well.

However, while speaking during the post-match presentation ceremony at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, Virat Kohli talked about the team’s overall performance in this series.

“To be the best side in the world, you have to be multi-dimensional. Spin was always our strength, batting was never a problem for us. We said we can play an extra bowler, and as batsmen we said we?ll get the job done. We?ve got runs in every Test match, our catching has been good too,” Kohli was quoted as saying.

However, there he was asked if the team will visit former India captain MS Dhoni‘s home there. Virat Kohli gave a hilarious reply on that before concluding the post-match presentation ceremony. Indian captain funnily said to the reporter, “No, he?s here. He?s in the change room. Come, say hello [laughs],” which made everyone laugh.

While there were speculations that MS Dhoni would come to the stadium during the first day of the final Test match, the veteran cricketer was eventually seen in the Indian dressing room on the Day 4 after India registered the victory.

As far as this Test is concerned, opener Rohit Sharma smashed his maiden double century while vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane too scored a hundred and Ravindra Jadeja scored a fifty and made the winning foundation for India. On the other hand, bowlers too did well to bowled the visitors out within the below par.

India will next play against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series which will start from November 3.
