India vs South Africa Test series has been in news for many reasons – one of them for sure the no-ball of?Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian all-rounder bowled a surprising no-ball which made everyone stunned including the opposition captain. During the third day of the ongoing first Test between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja bowled a delivery which was eventually turned into a no-ball.

It all happened on the last delivery of the 39th over. Bowling to South Africa captain Faf du Plessis, Ravindra Jadeja bowled a delivery having five-bounce as he failed to execute the planning and the ball didn?t come out of his hand as per the desired manner.

Du Plessis, who could have earned some easy runs after hitting the ball anywhere as it was a no-ball, restricted himself from doing so and let the ball go to India wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha. Until the lunch opening batsman, Dean Elgar was at 76* and du Plessis at 48*. Both stitched a 90-run partnership before the lunch to provide some stability to their innings. India fast bowler Ishant Sharma, however, had trapped Temba Bavuma before the stumps to dismiss another batsman in the morning.

After India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat, the hosts put up a huge total of 502/7 in 136 overs before declaring. Opening batsmen in Mayank Agarwal (215) and Rohit Sharma (176) had stitched a 317-run partnership to provide a formidable start to their team.
