Incomplete Fortnite Mural in Chicago Sparks Rumors of an Upcoming Collaboration With NBA King LeBron James

Fortnite is no stranger to doing collaborations with celebrated sports persons and athletes. Over the years, the popular Battle Royale title has incorporated elements from different games on a variety of items. This includes emotes, skins, and many other cosmetics. Players love seeing their favorite sports superstars in the game, and the developers at Epic Games have done a great job at properly adding them to the game.

Recently, a lot of rumors popped up about a new athlete joining the game soon. The rumors began with the image of an incomplete mural, and many fans believe that they might see the arrival of the King himself in LeBron James.

Incomplete Fortnite Mural spotted in Chicago

In a recent Reddit post on r/FortNiteBR, a fan showcased a photo of an incomplete mural involving the Epic Games developed title. The mural spotted in Chicago revealed a purple background synonymous to the color palette of Chapter 2 Season 7. It also had a date of July 14 written on it as well, which seems to be the release date of this entity.

Other than that, the incomplete mural in Chicago also included the drawing of wings present on this entity. No one has any clue about this mysterious entity with angelic wings. But some believe that it could be a signal to a character that has links to royalty,

The community believe that LeBron James might arrive soon

Popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX tweeted this image and gave an interesting view about some links it might have. The scooper said that the game will add a new painting titled Majesty/Grandeur soon with a text which stated that players can earn rewards by completing the King’s Bling Quest.

By mentioning that Fortnite will receive a King to the game, many players suggested that this royal character might come from the world of Basketball. Players believe that Epic Games might be collaborating with the King of NBA in Los Angeles Lakers player, LeBron James. The four time MVP is one of the most notable athletes in the world. So, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to suggest that LeBron James might join the world of Fortnite.

It’s unclear whether the theories about his arrival might come to fruition. But players can play him on another video game currently in the official Space Jam: A New Legacy- The Game as part of a collaboration with Xbox. They can also catch him in the sequel to the iconic movie which featured NBA legend, Michael Jordan. Space Jam: A New Legacy releases on July 16 in theaters and HBO Max for fans in the USA.
