When it comes to video games collaborating with famous artists, Fortnite is leading the race. Epic has already hosted a Marshmello concert at Pleasant Park and recently Chance The Rapper’s show Punk’d at Risky Reels, perhaps its time for another in-game concert?
The Fortnite X Marshmello event involved an in-game live concert event along with a host of new cosmetics. Players also had the chance to earn free cosmetic rewards by completing a few challenges.
We also witnessed a Fortnite and Major Lazer collaboration. However, it was only limited to purchasable cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop.

Travis Scott Concert Coming Soon To Fortnite?
Back in February, data miner Lucas Yoshi found Travis Scott’s name with a Cosmetic Set in the game files. In March, Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared an image of the potential the Travis Scott skin. On April 16, leakers shared a new ‘Jerky’ event was in the game files. The playlist for Marshmello’s event had the same title. Is something similar in the cards?

Meanwhile, players spotted in-game teasers. The foremost one is the ending of a song named ‘Highest in the Room’ by Travis Scott. The rapper’s song is heard playing feebly in some specific areas of the map.
There is also a purple glowing object in the sky, although quite far from the Fortnite island. Data miners carefully inspected the object which resembled Astroworld.

Leakers decrypted the audio and texture file for the upcoming event.
Players also noticed posters for the event around the map. A music logo appears on the posters. If looked at carefully, the background of the poster resembles a section of the map of Fortnite. Particularly the islands around Sweaty Sands.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no information as to when the event will take place, we can only speculate. The in-game Marshmello performance was on a Saturday, one week after its teaser was exhibited. The Travis Scott event could potentially be at the end of April at the earliest if Epic is on the same track. As always, we will keep you updated.
Travis Scott is known to be a fan Fortnite, having jumped into some matches with Drake and Ninja back in 2018, and now it seems he may finally be getting his own event and skin in the game.
