Tennis personality Eugenie Bouchard has been one of the most notable players on the Tour. The Canadian star is quite popular with fans and amongst the tennis fraternity. When she first emerged on Tour, she grew in popularity rather quickly.
Recently, Eugenie Bouchard took part in a quiz on the Tennis Channel. During that session, she was asked questions on various topics. However, the one question that caught attention was when she was asked to name the Canadian players, male or female, who had broken into the top 10 in rankings.
Bouchard said, “I don’t know. Is it male or female? Oh, did one of the young guys get to 10 recently? Oh, see, I didn’t exactly follow that. Is it Denis Shapovalov? Okay, I’m not up to date.”

Eugenie Bouchard has not played much tennis this season
This season, Bouchard began by competing at the Australian Open but couldn’t make it past the second qualifying round. After that, she played a couple of tournaments in Mexico, reaching the finals in the first event and losing in the opening round in the second.
Since then, she has not played any event and had to undergo surgery on her right shoulder. She has not been on the Tour for a long time. However, she has taken up the role of an analyst on the Tennis Channel and will continue to do so until the US Open Series events are over with.

It will be interesting to see if she can compete in the final Grand Slam event of the year. Her best performance at the US Open was when she reached the fourth round during the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Fans will hope to see her back on the tennis courts again.
