The do-or–die match for both the teams turned out to be in the host’s favor as Virat Kohli’s unbeaten knock of 82 helped his team seal a place in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
The Group 2 clash between India and Australia at the PCA Stadium, Mohali was nothing short of exhilarating battle between two of the best teams in the tournament.
After a blistering start by Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch who took their side to 50 in just 4 overs, the Indian bowlers bounced back and restricted Steven Smith’s side to 160 for 6 in their 20 overs.
India lost Shikhar Dhawan early, which brought Virat Kohli to the crease. He stayed there until the very end and saw his team home with an absolute gem of an innings.

Big game and Aus hold the advantage after first 6 overs 60 for 1 but India can still stem the flow of runs and 175 would b a job well done.
