The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is one of the biggest sporting events in the world of cricket. In this arena, several cricketing nations battle it out to win the grand prize, the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy. Since this is an event of such a grand scale, in terms of the commentary team, only the best of the best can be recruited. To that end, the ICC announced an enticing line up of commentators for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The tournament is scheduled to be played in England and Wales from the 30th of May onwards.

In addition to the list of commentators, the ICC press release gave a detailed broadcast plan for the Cricket World Cup. This event is expected to bring more than a billion fans closer to the action and players.

To the delight of fans, 2015 Cricket World Cup-winning captain, Michael Clarke, is set to be added to the roster. Clarke will be commentating alongside some of cricket’s most respected broadcasters.

Another cricketing legend, ex England Captain, Nasser Hussain is also part of the commentary team. Hussain said, “The whole of England and Wales is buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the massive summer of cricket ahead. This edition of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup promises to be the most entertaining one yet and I cannot wait to be part of this event broadcast and witness history in the making, first hand.”
