ICC Cricket World Cup Schedule
The ICC Cricket World Cup is almost upon us, and players will be hard at work preparing for the big stage. The World Cup 2019 time table sees the hosts, England, square off against South Africa on the 30th of May.
This year’s World Cup will be the 12th edition of the tournament. Across England and Wales, 12 venues will play host to the 10 teams battling it out for the crown.

Out of the 10 teams facing each other for the Cricket World Cup title, eight have automatically qualified. They are, Australia, England, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa. However, the likes of West Indies and Afghanistan went through a qualifier tournament.
Interestingly, ahead of the World Cup 2019, there was a change of format. The new ICC Cricket World Cup Schedule states that teams will play 9 matches in a round robin before the top 2 qualify.
Moving on to team news, the Men in Blue were dealt a blow when Kedar Jadhav picked up an injury. So, the BCCI are scrambling to find a replacement, and they have zeroed in on Ambati Rayudu and Axar Patel as likely candidates.
ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 India Schedule
Coming to the Indian team, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 India schedule consists of two warm up matches before the actual tournament begins. First up will be New Zealand on the 25th of May, followed by Bangladesh on the 28th of May.
The World Cup 2019 time table for Team India, officially kicks off against the Proteas on the 5th of June. A few days later, they go up against defending champions Australia on the 9th. On the 13th India will face off against New Zealand.
However, the next match in the ICC Cricket World Cup India schedule on the 16th will be a big one as India will go up against arch nemesis Pakistan. Less than a week later, India will meet Afghanistan before playing against West Indies. Next, the Men in Blue will square off against the hosts, England, on the 30th of June.
