David Warner Biography

David Warner has had a fairly long cricketing career, debuting in first class cricket in 2009 for the ODI and the T20 national team. Two years later he kicked off his Test career for the Australian team.

For his T20 debut, David Warner became the first man to play for Australia without a first-class match experience, a record in itself.

However, his blossoming career has been mired in controversy. David Warner has often been described a 'thuggish' on the field. In 2013, he was accused of physically assaulting England player Joe Root. In the same year, he had an on-field altercation with the South Africa A wicketkeeper.

In 2018, he was involved in yet another alternation, again during a South Africa game. But the biggest one yet was in the same year when he and skipper Steve Smith were embroiled in a ball-tampering scandal. He was the vice captain of the Australia team at the time and was forced to step down along with Smith.

Mitchell Aaron Starc (or Mitchell Starc) was one of the many cricketers who had successfully changed lanes from one department to other. Initially an aspiring wicket-keeper, Starc is now one of the most menacing fast bowlers in world cricket.

Born in New South Wales on January 30, 1990, Starc is regarded as a perfect replacement for another left-arm fast bowler who shared his first name with Starc. Both Starc and Johnson could trouble the batsmen with sheer pace.

Starc, on 21 August 2016 against Sri Lanka, became the fastest bowler to take 100 ODI wickets doing so in 52 innings and breaking Saqlain Mushtaq's 19-year-old record. Though it was very soon broken by Rashid Khan, Starc still remains the fastest pace bowler to do so. Later in 2019, Starc became the fastest bowler to reach 150 ODI wicket in term of innings taken, again beating Saqlain Mustaq by one innings.

In 2016, Mitchell Starc also married fellow Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy.

The highest stage in his career has come in 2015 where he was the man of the series in the ICC Cricket World Cup with 22 wickets in his team’s victorious campaign. Though struck with injuries, he managed to come back to the next World Cup in 2019 and pick up 27 wickets in 10 matches.

Shakib al Hasan Biography

The 32-year old has been an asset for the Bangladesh team for a long time. In the bowling department, Shakib al Hasan possesses accuracy and consistency. Meanwhile, on the batting front, Shakib al Hasan has aggression and a variety of strokes in his arsenal.
