Conor McGregor traveled to Ukraine for a specific purpose. He was there attending an event at the Parimatch Fight Academy.
The main reason behind bringing a great athlete like Conor McGregor to Parimatch Fight Academy was to inspire and motivate the kids training at the facility. Conor had the chance to talk with the young and upcoming talent that trained at the academy. Push them in the right direction and show them what a sincere and dedicated mind is capable of achieving.
On his way in Conor McGregor spotted something he’s more than familiar with. McGregor was immediately drawn to the UFC gold belt that hung on one of the academy’s walls. He without the slightest hesitation picked the belt up and wrapped it around his shoulder. Belt in hand, McGregor said, “Oh yes! I’m getting one of these babies, make no mistake about that!” nothing but true Conor essence.

McGregor said, “Ukraine has a phenomenal boxing background and a phenomenal boxing history. I have no doubt now, seeing this and seeing the facility that Parimatch has built that Ukraine will have a strong presence in mixed martial arts in the future.”
McGregor wises that there were academies of this sort when he was growing up. It would have helped him in his early years to remain focused. And maybe with this type of training in his early years, he could have possibly achieved more than he has already under his name today.

McGregor speaking to the kids said, “ Well I only began boxing at around 13. You are here not only training but competing at 10 years of age. I had not even begun training yet and I rose up through hard work and focus and became the multiple weight champion of the UFC. So you guys have a head start already. I think to myself if I had this facility and this competition I would have been 3 weight world champion!”
Conor McGregor is all for starting as early as one can. He clearly wished the same for himself. Do you think Conor McGregor still has what it takes to go on and become a 3 weight world champion?
