Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas has been playing some good tennis recently. After winning the Open 13 event in Marseille, Stefanos made it to the finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships. However, in the finals, he was outclassed by a player who is playing the best tennis of his life.
We are talking about the World number one Novak Djokovic. The Serb is currently on a 21 match winning streak and he has shown no signs of stopping. In fact, there were only two matches where he looked close to defeat. One was the Australian Open finals against Dominic Thiem where he ultimately prevailed in a 5 set clash. The other one came recently in the semi-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships. Here, he saved three match points against Gael Monfils to complete a miraculous comeback.

Stefanos went on to say that it is his goal to achieve the same. He also explained the modus operandi of Novak Djokovic –
“I want to do it one day too. I think it’s a good combination of giving less than you have to on the court, having a good rehab, having a good in-between match scheduling, how well you recover after every match. Your diet, of course, plays an important role. Also, your mental state, having a clear mental state, not having anything bother you.
“I’ve been playing some good tennis. Obviously I’ve never had the record that Djokovic has. But I do think it’s possible. Of course, lots of respect to him for doing it so many times.”
