The Swiss maestro Roger Federer has a huge supporter in a tennis star from Argentina. Horacio Zeballos might not have been able to make it big in singles tennis competition. However, he holds a unique distinction.
He is one of only four players to defeat Rafael Nadal in a final match, the other three being Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. Zeballos defeated Nadal in the finals of the VTR Open held in Chile. However, Zeballos revealed something very interesting.

What did Horacio Zeballos say about Roger Federer?
The Argentine gave a nuanced response to this question about the toughest opponent. He is a fan of the game displayed by Novak Djokovic –
“Without a doubt it is Djokovic. It is the most complete, the fastest and responds to the service with great ease. I think that against Roger it would be possible to give him more fight in some games and Nadal [who he defeated in a final in Chile in 2013] sometimes fluctuates in quality and intensity between surfaces, so I choose Novak.”
However, he holds a lot of respect for Roger Federer.
“For me, I want Federer to play until he is 45 years old, he is unique, but tenistically I stay with Djokovic. I think he will surpass Roger’s records, but I hope he deceives me ”

There will surely be a lot of people who won’t agree with this response given by Zeballos. However, one thing that no one can argue against is that Novak Djokovic is currently the most dangerous player in the world. He is quick and stable in his rallies and vicious in his returns.

However, many would agree with his views on Roger Federer. Certainly, we all want Federer to play till a ripe old age. The Swiss maestro is pretty equipped to achieve the unassailable.
In that sense, Novak will certainly be a tough opponent. However, a Federer in his prime and a Rafa on clay are pretty much the gold standards when it comes to tennis. This is a very unanswerable question, to be honest.
