What did Roger Federer say?
The Swiss tennis star revealed that he lacked basic tennis equipment. In all honesty, it is a game of the rich. The equipment is expensive and you need to have deep pockets to afford regular visits to the court.
“My first memories go back to playing with a wooden racquet. Instead of the neon yellow tennis balls, I started off with the white tennis balls. In Switzerland, we used a lot of pressure-less tennis balls as well. I don’t know how many players of this generation today could say that” Federer told ATP Uncovered presented by Peugeot, cracking a laugh.

Roger opened up on the intensity of his practice. In fact, he didn’t have anyone to play with. So the Swiss star perfected his art with walls and garage doors. This is truly an example of his grit and strong determination.
“I remember playing against the wall and at the cupboards and the garage doors for hours.”
