“I Miss You” – Serena Williams Calls Out Her Best Friend Caroline Wozniacki

Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki might have played some great matches on the court against each other. But off-court, the two are very good friends and fans got to see another moment of their friendship on Instagram recently.

Wozniacki retired recently after the 2020 Australian Open. But soon the pandemic spread to different parts of the world and since then everyone has been at home due to lockdowns. Wozniacki posted a picture of her holding a fish that she caught. And it has this as the caption-

“Catch of the day!”

Serena Williams’ Comment

Serena seeing her best friend’s picture after so long commented that she misses the Danish.

“I miss youuuuuuu” commented Serena.

Both players adore each other. Recently Serena posted a picture on Instagram with her daughter. She introduced her daughter as her new doubles partner and the picture took social media by storm. Wozniacki immediately commented on it with her heart out.

“Oh my gosh!!! This is the cutest thing I have ever seen,” Wozniacki commented.

Wozniacki is a former World No.1. The main highlight of her career is the 2017 Australian Open triumph. In the penultimate tournament to her retirement in Auckland, she partnered with Serena to play doubles. It was one of the most wholesome moments of 2020. 

“We had a blast, it was awesome. We were like, ‘Why didn’t we do this earlier?  she said in an interview with the Tennis Channel earlier this year.

Serena is again charging for a record 24th Grand Slam title. Having reached various finals in the past three years, the American has fallen short. With the season resuming in one month she will be practicing harder now to achieve the glory.

Wozniacki is enjoying a happy retired life. She will be rooting for Serena and will wish her best friend captures the record.
