Simone’s Refusal To Her 1st Pay-Check

Reiterating a hilarious memory of her receiving the 1st check, Simone?tells, “I was probably 12 years old or 13 years, and it’s this huge cheque, and my coach said whatever you do, don’t touch it because that will forfeit your eligibility for college gymnastics,”
Making Maverick chuckle, Simone narrated how her 12 her old-self was scared at the very mention of “forfeit.” Scared, Biles?confessed, “I jumped off the podium.” She further revealed how her coach later came over and?said, “you are just not allowed to cash it.”
Simone Biles: The Explorer
Eager to learn new things,?Simone, like many of her contemporaries, tries her hand at new things. Very recently, Biles had the opportunity to throw out the 1st pitch at three Major League Baseball games.

For a newbie like her, Biles did an outstanding job. She had her 1st baseball exposure on July 4, 2016. At a Houston Astros home game versus the Seattle Mariners, she performed the honors.

Of late, Simone has been very vocal about her mental health. She even withdrew her name from the Olympics, prioritizing her mental health. The courageous step of the youngster opened everyone’s eyes. It did change the perspective of every athlete who felt constrained by their feelings and expectations.
Her step served as a reminder that stress, anxiety, sadness, rage, and suicidal thoughts can affect athletes just as much as anybody else.
