Suni Lee is currently a student at Auburn University and she is loving it. Lee, who is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic all-around champion, she currently competing in the NCAA and having the time of her life.

After the Tokyo Olympics, Suni Lee joined Auburn University. She wanted to take a break from all the Olympic pressure and go to college; have fun, move around. Basically, do all the things that a college-goer does.

Currently, Suni is participating in the NCAA championships, proudly representing her college. Does this top the Olympic feeling? Suni Lee reveals.

Does competing in the NCAA top competing in the Olympics?

The National Collegiate Athletic Association is one of a kind. It regulates athletes from over 1200 colleges and institutions. It also organizes the athletic programs of colleges and universities in the United States and Canada and helps over 480,000 college student-athletes who compete annually in college sports.

Currently, Suni Lee is competing in the NCAA Gymnastic championships. Lee is leading her college team and giving some impressive performances. Now she has revealed that Lee actually enjoys competing in the NCAA more than the Olympics.

“Competing in the NCAA, for sure. I mean the Olympics is definitely an incredible experience,” said Lee. But Suni has an entire family at college and she is really cherishing this experience.

“But this is like I really have a family here, and it’s something that I will cherish forever.”

This could be because the Olympics are a much more stressful event. At the Olympics, athletes are under extreme pressure to perform. Suni has revealed that the atmosphere is very toxic.

On the contrary, NCAA isn’t so stressful and athletes have more fun here. They represent their own college and perform with their team, which is like a second family.

Suni Lee prepares tough vault for NCAA

Suni Lee has prepared well for her debut at the NCAA. As per reports, Suni is preparing a half-on front layout, one of the toughest vaults.

The vault, known as Cheng, is a grandmaster-class vault, named after the Chinese world champion Cheng Fei. Only a few athletes in the world can perform this vault. If there is anyone who can pull it off at the college level, it is none other than Suni Lee.

This vault could also be her possible ticket to the 2024 Olympics. Suni Lee’s coach, Jeff Graba, has full trust she can pull it off, but simultaneously, he is making sure she doesn’t tire herself out.
