Daniel Cormier hasn’t won the hearts of millions of fans just by his commentary and announcements in the UFC, but also through his various victories while he fought in the UFC and the Olympic Games. Without a doubt, such a personality would in fact be a great source of intimidation if one was going against him in a fight.

Undoubtedly, the coaches would also face the heat, trying to out-coach the legendary DC. Recently, a coach found himself competing against Cormier and his reactions got some hilarious responses from the fans.

Cormier coaches wrestling to high school students, and undeniably, was present during a tournament where his students participated. However, looking at the former UFC heavyweight champion wreaked havoc amongst the other coaches.

Coach gets upset after realizing he has to out-coach Daniel Cormier

ESPN recently shared a video of a coach ranting about how he has to coach against DC during a wrestling tournament. The coach said, “Look who I gotta coach against. DC! Look at that guy. I gotta coach against a UFC champion! How am I supposed to win, huh? How am I supposed to win this match? This is bulls**t!”

Although it was understandable to get cold feet when there stood a champion in the opposing side, DC found it hilarious. The former champion took to comments and wrote, “He’s so funny, this is a joke and my man is a phenomenal coach and ever coaches against each other for years from youth to high school. He’s got some tough kids. This was a finals match.”

Without a doubt, the fans took over the comments section and wrote what they had in their mind. While many showed empathy towards the coach, many criticized him for giving up so early. Furthermore, many of the fans believed that the attitude probably had the team on the losing side even before the matches began.

  • I wouldnt even blame my coach if he gave up lmao.
  • Same reaction I would have lmaoooo.
  • If I was the wrestler I would be like tf  whoever he coaching got to be tough.
  • Great way to inspire your kids. How about taking it as a chance to compete and learn from a goat? That’s invaluable.
  • Bruh, you’re coaching against him, not fighting him stop being a fan and out coach him.
  • With that mentality you ain’t ever gonna win.
  • DC tryna pretend he don’t see the other coach.
  • You know it’s over when your coach already knows he’s defeated.
  • Oh yea they lost before it begun.

Daniel Cormier’s coaching history

Although the former champion has participated and fought in many platforms, coaching might be something he required to pass down his vast knowledge of techniques. He has been a coach at AKA for years now. Furthermore, he has taught in high schools in his city for free.

The former Olympic wrestler has not only won his fights, but also revealed the secrets to his students. DC is indeed one of the greatest UFC analysts and wrestling coaches out there who can really intimidate the team he would be standing against. No doubt, the coach at the tournament was scared of him.
