In a recent appearance on a podcast, Novak Djokovic addressed the criticism he has been facing due to the many statements he made. He started off by talking about his reaction when he saw the comments and said,
“I was aware that everything I say will produce reactions, either positive or negative. How do I react to all that? I can’t say that it doesn’t affect me, it certainly affects me when people condemn and criticize me for using the platform to spread pseudoscience, negative information, which can affect a person’s health. These are serious things.”

The Serbian star then went on to defend himself from all the criticism he has been facing and said,
“I am aware that whatever I say and do, I cannot satisfy everyone. That is not my goal, I want to say one thing, I try never to attack people and not to condemn anyone. I try to give constructive things, about nutrition, everything else, health, success, environment. There are expectations from the athlete to not to say anything but what they do.”

He could very well become the greatest of all time by holding the record for the most Grand Slam titles. And that is something he will be hoping to do when the ATP Tour returns in August.
