Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Skyy Moore was in for a surprise on Saturday night. Teammates of the 21-year-old Moore played a prank as they dined out together for dinner. Following the dinner, the server passed the bill to Moore. However, he thought he was about to bear the bill.

Meanwhile, Moore later revealed that it was a joke. The teammates just played it up at that moment. However, he for a second thought that the bill was on him. 

Teammates dining out for dinner is a tradition

Meanwhile, it is more like a practice in the NFL to have dinner with the team once in a while. This is being done to get to know each other. Many players often remarked that such meetings help in breaking the ice between the players.

NFL legend Aaron Rodgers is someone who often engages in one-on-one player conversations during dinner to form team unity. The Green Bay Packers superstar sat with Packers WR Romeo Doubs recently and later on, Doubs posted on Twitter, thanking Rodgers for his conversation.    

How Moore reacted on Instagram 

On Saturday, Moore and Chiefs’ receivers went out for dinner at 801 Chophouse in the Power & Light District. “I can’t believe that, bro,” Moore said on Instagram. “Oh, my god. So look, the gang got me, bro, no cap. We’re at the rookie dinner… tell me why they give me this receipt, bro. I’m like bro what, but big bro paid it. That’s all that matters… I almost died, bro.”

Moore posted a video on his Instagram account, which fetched interesting reactions from the fans. Most fans asked him to enjoy such moments and get used to such pranks.

The youngster rose to fame after an impressive show in his college years. He played in five games as a sophomore and returned with 25 receptions for 388 yards. Young Moore also recorded three touchdowns. As a result, he returned as a starter in 2021. He tied the school record with four touchdowns receptions.

Following this achievement, Moore was declared for the 2022 NFL draft. Meanwhile, Moore and the team will get into action as an exciting new season of the NFL is around the corner.
