The world is witnessing a surge in AI and robotic technology. Over the past decade, this field has taken a giant leap forward. In one of the latest episodes of 60 Minutes, engineers build robots that they don’t have to program to play soccer. Building with an AI integration, these robots can easily learn and try different strategies. The host was in shock as well as he witnessed the bots changing strategies. Here is how fans reacted to the clip.

Based on the success and failure of the previously used strategies, these robots can easily change the strategies. They build up their game plan based on the results it generates. Although it is a lengthy process from the start. It began with the players (bots) kicking the ball around. However, with time, they learn to use strategies to make the best output.

He said, “That’s right. AI will impact everything. So, for example, you could be a radiologist. You know, if I— if I— if you think about five to 10 years from now, you’re gonna have an AI collaborator with you. Let’s say you have 100 things to go through. It may say, ‘These are the most serious cases you need to look at first.”
