The host then tried to demean the sport by pointing out its inauthenticity. However, Hogan wanted none of it. He said, “It’s not fake man, because if it’s fake that means you didn’t get hurt… and we go out there and we work as hard as we can to have good matches.

Is the WWE staged?

The WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, has been the subject of much speculation and debate since its inception. With its larger-than-life characters, high-stakes storylines, and unpredictable nature, some argue that WWE is in fact staged. Even professional wrestling promoter, Vince McMahon admitted its ingenuity.

However, a closer look reveals that while WWE may use scripts and storylines to create a narrative, the sport is not completely scripted. Wrestlers do not know the outcome of matches and they must be physically fit and well-trained to compete in the ring. Ultimately, while storylines and pre-determined outcomes are part of the WWE, the sport is not completely staged.
