The video showed the BK mascot opening a takeaway bag that shone a blue light on his face with the PS5 startup sound playing. Now, it is clear that this is indeed a promotional campaign by both BK and PlayStation.

Turns out, fans stand a chance to win a free PlayStation 5 through Burger King! As reported by NewsNow,
“First, hungry gamers will need to register on the BK App or BK.com to participate in the BK PS5 promotion. When the guest purchases a two for $5 deal or makes a $5+ purchase, on the BK App, bk.com, or in-restaurant, the guest will earn one game token.
“Guests can then use the game token to play the digital scratch-off game in the BK App or BK.com for a chance to win a PS5 console, PlayStation game codes, or BK coupons.”
Burger King is giving away 1000 PS5 consoles
Additionally, the official contest website also explains how many prizes are there to be won. Turns out, BK has a thousand PlayStation 5 consoles to give away. In addition to this, they are also giving away game codes for Sackboy: A Big adventure, Demon Souls, and digital codes for a 3-month subscription of PlayStation Now.
This is exciting news considering the pre-orders of PS5 were an absolute mess. Moreover, the global supply is bound to fall short due to the pandemic. This means a lot of the people will not be able to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 on launch day. Thankfully, this promotion will help increase your chance to get a system soon. Take a look at the official page to read all the rules.

The teaser also mentioned that something is about to happen on October 15. Considering it showcased the PS5 startup sound, perhaps we will get to see the UI reveal for the next-gen console on the day. Moreover, it is the only major announced yet to be made about the PS5. Hence, it is highly likely that fans may just see it happen.
All that would remain for Sony to announce is a list of expandable storage drives compatible with the PS5 once the Ui is done with. This will prove to be beneficial for both Sony and its customers.
