Well, no one saw that coming. After being criticized from every corner for their one-sided matches (only 1 in 5 matches were decided by less than 3 points), TGL turned up the excitement level to the maximum with three back-to-back-to-back closely knit affairs on Presidents’ Day. Atlanta Drive beat Los Angeles Golf Club by a point in overtime before losing to the Bay Golf Club by the same score of 5-6 in regular play. Afterward, Bay Golf Club had to work for their 100% win record, beating Boston Common Golf 5-4.

Riding off a tight affair, fans expected much more from the Jupiter Links Golf Club tie against the New York Golf Club, the next day. But the latter breezed through winning with a score of 3-10. Tiger Woods’s return to competitive golfing after his mother’s passing was filled with disappointment and embarrassment. With the playoffs lurking, week 8 promises to be an exciting action-filled day packed with two enticing matchups, LA vs NY, and Boston vs Atlanta.

For the United States fans, the TGL Day 8 doubleheader will be featured on the ESPN 2 channel. It will also be streamed live on ESPN +. The streaming for the first match between the LAGC and the NYGC starts at 5 PM, Eastern Time. The second match featuring Rory McIlroy’s squad and the Atlanta Drive Golf Club will start at 9 PM, Eastern Time.
