Following the ‘dream run’ of the OG Chapter, the forthcoming lineup for the Battle Royale seems grander than ever. From the Big Bang event to the LEGO collaboration launch, Epic Games has left no stone unturned to appeal to tactical-shooter fans. Well, the strategies have worked magically for the game and there has been no better time to explore the island. But what’s Fortnite without some iconic skin collections? As we move further, let’s understand how to get these free skins.

Fortnite skins have been a fan-favorite element of the Battle Royale since its launch in 2017. Over the course of six years, the developers have offered a countless number of skins that make the game an epic of ‘pop culture collaborations.’ However, with a rare Fortnite skin comes a big price tag. But that’s not true for all the skins. Sometimes, the game offers a set of unique skins for merely some in-game challenges. Currently, the game has around seven free skins, and here’s how you can get these skins in the game. 

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Complete these tasks to win the free skins of the month 

For the month of December, Epic Games has brought a special Christmas offer. While it’s very rare to get one or two available redeem codes for free skins, you can access up to seven skins codes for free this month. All you need to do is complete some side tasks.

Before proceeding with the lists, make sure your LEGO account is 18+ so you don’t have to send your credit card and your face. This will help you avoid adding the card details for some of the free purchases mentioned below. Also, don’t forget to connect your LEGO account with the Epic Games account to enjoy all the bonus benefits. 

• Red Cap 

The Redcap outfit has been added as a free reward for players who participate in the Refer a Friend 3.0 event. Complete the refer-a-friend quests with a friend you can refer (or an alternative). The last quest is to earn 50 levels in both accounts. 

• Runaway Racer 

Runaway Racer was added as a code in Fortnite for the free Velocity Chic Cosmetic set in OG Fest. To access the redeem code for the skin, complete the quests earning 50 levels in total. 

• Trailblazer Tai 

Buy it in the item shop for $0 (no credit card needed) then complete the Lego quests you’re given to complete at the quests tab.

• Explorer Emelie

You can access this specific skin if you have your LEGO account connected to the Epic Games account.

First thing, ensure you have a LEGO account. Go to account settings (top right icon) on the Epic Games website. From here, go to apps and accounts. Under apps, you will see LEGO with a connect option. It’s really that simple.

• Jackie 

To earn the code for Jackie, you’ll have to reach the gold in Rocket Racing. Win as many races as it takes and climb your way up to gold. However, there is one caveat. Even after reaching Gold, you reportedly need to complete a race in Gold 2.

• The Fortnite Winterfest skins 

The Winterfest is one rare time when Epic Games would be giving away skin codes for free. Although there would still be some work required. Players will have to open certain amounts of presents or complete certain challenges when the Winterfest goes live next week.
