Not many fighters get to attain sheer hype on their UFC debuts like Sharaputdin Magomedov. One prime reason for this is Magomedov’s roots in Dagestan, the same region that has produced elite fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and now, we have Sharaputdin Magomedov.
Meanwhile, ‘Bullet’ Magomedov has his own achievements to boast about. The undefeated fighter, with a professional record of 12-0, is set to face Antonio Trocoli at UFC Sadi Arabia, where he will relish a height advantage. But how tall is the Russian fighter? Let’s have a look.

According to the official UFC website, Sharaputdin Magomedov stands at 6’2″ (1.88 m). The 29-year-old will enjoy a 1-inch height advantage over his opponent, the 6’1″ tall Joilton Lutterbach in Riyadh. Magomedov is a high-level knockout puncher and has earned most of his victories via finishes.
The massive height of Sharaputdin Magomedov could have also played a major role in those fights. The last five opponents of Magomedov were all shorter than him. Hence, the statistical size representation favors him to have an edge over Bruno Silva. Magomedov cannot see through his right eye.
After contracting an injury during training in Thailand, Magomedov failed to regain his right eyesight despite multiple medical attempts. However, that didn’t restrict him from outclassing all of his opponents. Despite all the achievements in global promotions, Sharaputdin Magomedov has never competed at the UFC level. Now that Dagestani fighters already have a strong fanbase, ‘Bullet’ appears to have entered the UFC at the right time.

Currently ruled by Dricus Du Plessis, the 185-pound category is home to former champions like Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker, Sean Strickland, and many more. Magomedov is clearly far away from the top-level picture. However, the dominant Russian fighter can come across all the big names upon attaining a few wins in the promotion
