After a 15-year-long hiatus, Wrexham AFC is ready for league soccer. The club played in the fifth tier for those years: non-league soccer in the English Football pyramid. The Welsh club is gathering the momentum to have an impact in the fourth division.

Soon after new kits with new sponsor Betty Buzz were released, one of the Instagram users showed his brilliant editing skills. He went out of the box to make a stunning Wrexham and Deadpool crossover. It was a brilliant attempt to impress Ryan Reynolds, who co-owns the club. Reynolds immediately tagged the post to his Instagram story. However, the reaction of the Wrexham co-chairman showed he was impressed with the edits. Reynolds has always responded to the fans who have shown their love for the Welsh club and community. Be it a fan asking for real estate help in town or be it a donation appeal by the town’s U-12 futsal team, Ryan Reynolds was always available.
The Deadpool star and his partner Rob McElhenney have gone beyond the club in their investment. They are not only striving to get the club to the top but are also working on the upliftment of the community. Their contributions didn’t go unnoticed. The Hollywood duo was conferred with Freedom of Wrexham, the highest civil award of the county.
Reynolds and McElhenney have set sights on the Premier League in the next ten years. They have taken the first step with a promotion to the EFL League Two.
Blake Lively gets involved with Wrexham AFC
Lively attended Wrexham games occasionally with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. As such, she wasn’t directly involved with the club. However, a new sponsorship deal announced by the club makes the 35-year-old directly involved with the club. The Red Dragons announced Betty Buzz as their new training kit sponsor.

It will be interesting to see how Wrexham responds to the promotion next season and whether keeps the momentum going.
