IO Interactive had recently launched the latest edition of its Hitman franchise. Hitman 3 came out on all storefronts and the developers ensured that it would be a cross-platform game. It delivers a similar performance across the board, be it on PC or consoles.
IO has offered various options for players to optimize its latest title. The game includes a benchmarking tool as well as offers players to tweak graphics before even launching Hitman 3. Players can hop into the second mission and fire away testing the performance of their build.

With lower-end builds, players will naturally have to compromise quality and run the game on low settings. However, those with a decent build can optimize the settings to get a stable 60fps smooth gameplay. Moreover, to obtain this smooth performance, they also won’t have to give up on looks. PCGamesn worked up an optimized Hitman 3 settings for obtaining 60fps.
Squeeze many frames on Hitman 3 without compromising quality
PCGamesn tested the game on a pretty decent build. Their PC boasted of 2080 Super, Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB of RAM, and a 1440p display with an M.2 SSD. While it did not have an RTX30 series graphics card, it is still high end. Players with a better graphics card can try to play around with better settings.

Here are the best Hitman 3 PC settings:
- Level of detail: High
- Texture quality: High
- Texture filter: x16
- SSAO: Medium
- Shadow quality: High
- Mirrors reflection quality: Low
- SSR quality: Medium
- Variable rate shading: Off
- Motion Blur: Off
- Simulation quality: Base
Out of all these settings, the most important is setting simulation quality to base. The reviewer reported an 8% increase in performance after toggling this setting. Moreover, reducing Shadow Quality setting as well as SSR Quality will also result in significant performance boosts.

Hitman 3 also allows players to transfer their progress from previous titles. They can port most of their achievements and content from Hitman 2 and even Hitman 1 if they start afresh. While the PC version might be fun, the game only gets better on the PS5. IOI has added support for the DualSense controller which provides an immersive experience on the latest console by Sony.
