Among Us took the internet by storm in mid-2020 and hasn’t looked back ever since. From having minimal active users at the time of its launch, to being one of the most watched games across YouTube and Twitch, the indie game has come a long way. Furthermore, it bagged The Game Award for the Best Multiplayer Game last year.
It seems like Among Us will continue its glorious run even in 2020, owing to the interactive community that leaves no opportunity to make the game more fun. Players around the world actively create mods and funny animations that help in promoting the game.
Most recently, a Japanese YouTuber has created a hilarious animation that depicts how players struggle to swipe the cards in Admin:

The animation begins with a crewmate, or as TV host Conan O’Brien calls them, Gleep Gloops, trying to swipe their card in Admin. As expected, the crewmate fails to complete the task even after several tries. In the meantime, the imposter initiates the sabotage, kills a crewmate in Admin, and gets voted out in an emergency meeting.

‘Please Swipe Card’ is the toughest task in Among Us
The crewmates have to complete an array of tasks before the imposters eliminate them to win the game. While a majority of these tasks are basic, some like the ‘Please Swipe Card’ in Admin have troubled players since Among Us’ release.
It won’t be an exaggeration that every player can relate to the aforementioned animation. Accordingly, the tweet already has almost 4 million views, and 140k retweets, and 400k likes.

Such memes play a huge part in incentivizing people to try out InnerSloth’s chaotic multiplayer game. Moreover, content creators have now started developing mods for the game that makes it even more entertaining. Some of the most popular names to try mods include MrBeast and Socksfor1.
MrBeast was one of the first creators to ever play Among Us in a lobby for 100 people. On the flip side, Socksfor1 takes the credit for popularizing the ‘Doctor Crewmates‘ mod, the ‘Cloning’ mod, and many others.
