The Under Armour All-America Game is where high school football’s brightest stars gather to showcase their talent on a national stage. It’s not just a game—it’s a declaration. With the 2025 and 2026 cycles stacked with talent, Spec Martin Stadium, Orlando is set to become a battlefield for two days of future collegiate stars, a glimpse into a future for CFB fans who expect to dominate Saturdays. And there’s already some firework lighting up with reactions from the selected few. And Buckeye 5-star cornerback and No. 1 in the nation of North Shore High School couldn’t contain his happiness seeing his Duncanville fellow five-star on the list.

None other than, Devin Sanchez, Ohio State and Ryan Day’s crown jewel signee, didn’t need a paragraph to express his excitement on his Instagram story. Reposting a graphic from The Upperclassmen Report that highlighted the All-American rosters, Sanchez simply wrote, “Get righ.” That succinct message carried weight. The post featured a slew of big names, but what caught Sanchez’s eye was Dakorien Moore, the crown jewel of Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class and a fellow five-star talent from Duncanville. It wasn’t just about the names on the list—it was about a connection between two Texas standouts, now poised to face off on the national stage shortly.

Dan Lanning’s most elite 2025 signee, Moore’s journey to this moment, has been remarkable. The five-star wide receiver has been a terror for defenses, combining blistering speed with an unrelenting work ethic. While his Duncanville squad fell short in the Texas 6A D1 semifinal, losing to North Crowley in a nail-biting 36-34 finish, Moore still walked away with accolades, including the unanimous District 11-6A Offensive Player of the Year. His high school career may have ended without a championship, but his performance cemented his status as one of the most electrifying playmakers in the nation.

The connection between Devin Sanchez and Moore runs deeper than a casual Instagram shout-out. It’s a reflection of the competitive camaraderie that fuels elite athletes. Both hail from powerhouse programs—North Shore and Duncanville—synonymous with Texas high school football excellence. These programs don’t just produce players; they forge stars. Sanchez and Moore’s paths may diverge when they suit up in the B1G for Ohio State and Oregon Ducks next year, respectively, but their shared roots in Texas football lore ensure their rivalry will carry an extra edge when they meet again on opposite sides of the field.

As the Under Armour All-America rosters continue to take shape, Alabama has claimed the most signees with seven, closely followed by Florida and Oregon with six each. But the storylines aren’t just in the numbers; they’re in the matchups. Next year, it won’t just be a battle of five-star recruits when Moore lines up across from Sanchez. It will be a clash of the best in their class: the No. 1 wide receiver versus the No. 1 cornerback. This is the kind of matchup that gets scouts salivating and fans circling their calendars.

Oregon Ducks signee Dakorien Moore made sure his final high school game was one to remember—and he even caught the eye of an NFL legend. Dez Bryant, the three-time Pro Bowl receiver and Dallas Cowboys icon, was in Allen, Texas, on Saturday night to check out the Class 6A Division I state semifinals. And under those Friday Night Lights, Moore delivered a performance that left Bryant buzzing.

“@OregonFootball I’m at the game, and I just saw DKM do some crazy s*** for 6.. y’all got 1 for sure!” Bryant tweeted. The play that had Dez jumping out of his seat? Moore turning a seemingly routine catch into a jaw-dropping 59-yard touchdown, juking defenders from sideline to sideline. It was the kind of move that gets a crowd roaring—and apparently, a future Hall of Famer tweeting.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning couldn’t have been prouder when asked about Moore while discussing the Ducks’ 2025 class. “Dakorien is someone I love talking about,” Lanning said. “He didn’t have to prove anything in that game, but he’s the kind of guy who wants to run every drill, show his talent, and make sure everyone knows why he’s special.”
