That’s what you call the power of college football! They always have space for the young talents who are yet to join them in college. Right now, it’s Texas Longhorns HC Steve Sarkisian who comes up with a heartfelt message for the high school coaches of Texas. After all, they are the pillars to build the upcoming force that is going to take the Longhorns to great heights in the coming days. This indeed is a big thing for the high school coaches who can now seek inspiration from Sarkisian’s “secret sauce.”
Right now, Sarkisian has too many things on his plate. Moving to week 10, the Longhorns are now at No.1. Now, to maintain this top rank after beating LSU Tigers, they have to keep being their best selves, revving up their game plan. But instead of devoting his time in the Texas hood, Longhorns HC managed some minutes from his busy schedule to give a shoutout to the high school football coaches. “We are on November 1st, we will celebrate the Second Annual High School Coaches Day! Texas High School Coaches Day is a day to recognize a valuable impact that high school, middle school coaches have on our communities,” stated Sarkisian.

While in the college football landscape, Texas depends mostly on Sarkisian and Mike Elko. In high school football, there is a gang of talented coaches like Highland Park High School’s HC Randy Allen and Lovejoy High School’s HC Todd Dodge, who give in their blood, sweat, and tears to keep Sarkisian’s legacy alive among the young chaps. Now that high school football is growing at an alarming rate under the safe shelter of the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA), the Longhorns HC is on a mission to bring in more talented coaches to nurture the roots of Texas football.
Sarkisian then ended with a gratitude note, “We encourage you to join us in honorably unique roles that Texas high school coaches playv in lives of young people. We are grateful for continued support and for helping the THSCA fulfill its mission of helping coaches help kids.” Besides his positive attitude, the high school coaches can derive some winning blueprint from their senior.

The Steve Sarkisian effect on Longhorns’ first SEC Road victory
What’s your perspective on:
Are Texas high school coaches the unsung heroes behind the Longhorns' future success?
Have an interesting take?
With Sarkisian at the helm, the Longhorns have hit their first SEC road victory, crushing the Vanderbilt Commodores 27-24. This also had a great impact in boosting Longhorns to a 7-1 overall record and 3-1 in the SEC. So the HC must have cast some spell on the program after it had got a huge blow coming from their tough loss against Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs.
But they rose from the ashes, emerging to be stronger before facing off with their in-state rival, Texas A&M. Wondering what is it? It’s the Sarkisian effect, after all. And the HC has been kind enough to open the door of his secret vault. Turns out it’s the connection with their HC that played a great role, “I talked about to the guys this week, we got to get reconnected even off the field.”

The HC further stated, “We’re doing things outside of football with one another as much as it is doing things on the field together. And I think that’s part of our secret sauce a little bit.” So, high school coaches now know whenever they get stuck with their game plan, Steve Sarkisian is only a call away.
