Well, football always does not have to revolve around numbers and gridiron actions. Sometimes a bit of off-court activity does good by adding to the sports fever. And guess who proved that yet again? The Pasadena High School is all set to gift a new experience to fans through their upcoming event where their marching band will be the center of attention.
The high school team is always up for great endeavors, and that has paved the way for the legends. Many bigshots who once donned the Pasadena High School uniform came off with flying colors in college and ultimately in the NFL.

Things do not look quite good with the Pasadena High School football team. The last two matches had been a total flop. They lost against Kingwood Park 7-49 on October 25 and got crushed by Fort Bend Kempner 21-48 on November 3. They now have a big match lined up against La Porte on November 8. But looks like Pasadena High School is not only thinking about changing the fans’ focus through their game plan. Instead, they have come up with an interesting plan two days before the game. On November 6, the high school came up with a tweet revealing the big news.

They have planned a Marching Band Showcase on Wednesday, November 6 at the John Muir football field. The Blair’s Rock Band will be in charge of mesmerizing all those who will be present at the field. The tweet ended with a promise, “It’s going to be a great show!” Well, the Pasadena High School football team does not have to come up with promises. By far they have already created a good reputation for themselves and their legacy is now carried by the big shots related to the sports.

The Pasadena Bulldogs are known for their different fundraising drives. Plus, they never miss a chance to appreciate the young talents, encouraging them to carry forward with their passion for the sport. They give away certificates to the freshmen, encouraging them to make a difference in the future both on and off the field. Well, you must remember one name, Indiana Wijay.
The senior from Pasadena High School made history as he took on a new challenge at the University of Houston to become the first Sri Lankan American Division 1 quarterback. Before parting ways with his high school, the young chap shared a gratitude note in honor of Pasadena High School: “One of my favorite moments is definitely playing in the Rose Bowl and the known rivalry against Muir, it’s such a surreal moment having the entire Pasadena community support both teams with endless love.”

Not just Wijay, the list of Pasadena High School Hall of Fame continues. To name a few are WR Armon Binns, who played for the Cincinnati Bearcats before joining the Miami Dolphins, and University of Arizona QB Chris McAlister, who later played for the Baltimore Ravens. That’s how the high school has balanced it all!
