Known for his precision, Brown even had a standout career in his high school days with his ability to excel in tackle effectively. Now that he is doing the same for Alabama Crimson Tide, his transition is a perfect example of Mater Dei’s legacy in producing elite athletes while also highlighting Brown’s determination to dominate at the collegiate level.
On November 22, the team shared a post on Instagram mentioning their “student-athletes of the week,” in which Brown was one of the other high-achieving players. Well, Zabien Brown deserves this praise, as his exceptional gameplay not only gave Alabama an edge over Mercer last week but also helped their defense score points on their own for the very first time in the season. Surprising right? During the game, the 20-year-old returned the fumble made by Mercer for a 68-yard touchdown, making it Bama’s first non-offensive touchdown of this season. Now you can understand why it’s a big moment for both high school and CFB. However, this is not the first time that Zabien has done something out of the box.

Time and against Zabien Brown has shown his remarkable hold over the game. His presence in the rooster has only added value to Bama’s defense and given them an easy way out this season. Moreover, this is not the first time the team got a stellar performance from a true freshman during their showdown against the Georgia Bulldogs. Zabien was the one to score a game-winning interception for the team. Now you can understand why, being a freshman, he is one of the most valuable parts of the team.
But time he made a record for Bama and also gave them an immediate lead of 28-0 against Mercer in the second quarter of the game. After his big game, Zabien Brown was all smiles. He said, “It was great; everybody was just happy for me.
