On November 13, a fan took to X to share the miserable incident that happened with Morehead High School’s football player, Trooper Wright, saying, “Trooper Wright is a junior at Morehead Senior High School. He is a football captain and a part of the FCA. An ATV accident resulted in the amputation of his left arm.” The moment this heartbreaking news came out, this immediately took the whole football community into a state of shock.

This horrific incident happened around 2 p.m. on Monday when Trooper Wright was at his home in Eden. After the accident, Wright’s family members informed him about his condition, saying that apart from amputating one of his arms, two more surgeries would take place for his full recovery.

This is quite evident knowing his interest in not just playing football but also baseball and basketball. Trooper Wright has shown exceptional gameplay this season playing for
Moreland High School. The all-rounder player plays as an RB, QB, WR, DB, and punt returner, and this season Trooper recorded 43 passing yards with one touchdown and also played for 194 rushing yards. He is dominant on both sides of the ball, showcasing immense hold over the game.Trooper Wright’s football coach, Bobby Martin, highlighted his versatility, saying, “He’s a football player; he’s a basketball player.” This speaks volumes about his exceptional athleticism and his dominance on the field.
